What KOAEE doesn't do
A software company publishes what its product can do. This page publishes the opposite, because that's the information always missing at decision time — and because a limit discovered after signing up costs more than a limit read beforehand.
Everything below is true as of the last verification date shown at the bottom of the page. When a limit falls away, we remove it from here.
What the assistant doesn't know
It knows nothing you haven't taught it. It answers from the profile you maintain — hours, services, prices, availability — and from your published documents. It doesn't look elsewhere, and doesn't fill in the gaps. A question outside its profile leads to a referral to your contact, not an approximate answer.
It can make mistakes. An automatically generated answer may contain inaccuracies. We write this rather than hide it, and the assistant declares it itself in every conversation.
It doesn't verify what you give it. If your profile shows outdated hours, it will answer with the outdated hours. The accuracy and updating of your information are your responsibility.
What it refuses to do
No diagnosis, no medical advice, no health data. For a healthcare professional, the assistant provides practical information — hours, access, getting in touch — and nothing else.
No legal advice, no financial advice. It doesn't replace a professional and commits to nothing on your behalf.
No contractual commitment. It doesn't accept an order in your name, doesn't confirm a price outside your price list, doesn't close a sale.
In regulated sectors — healthcare, insurance, town hall, senior residence — standard responses are enforced and the client cannot change them: scope of service, emergency routing, transparency about the use of AI. It's a deliberate constraint, and it is non-negotiable.
What it doesn't replace
It doesn't replace your booking or ordering tool. It carries the conversation through to the end, collects what's needed, then directs to your existing system. It doesn't substitute for it.
It doesn't replace your front desk. It hands over when a question falls outside its scope — that's the intended behavior, not a failure.
It doesn't replace your website. The showcase website is a separate option, billed separately.
The technical limits, in numbers
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Languages it responds in | 16 on the demos and client sites (15 on the koaee.ai site itself) |
| Visitor writing in an unsupported language | directed to your contact, no approximate answer |
| Rollover of unused conversations | none — the counter resets to zero each calendar month |
| Number of assistants per subscription | just one on Essential, Professional and Business |
| Spoken voice announcement at the start of voice mode | not in place — the AI notice is read, not heard |
| SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / HIPAA certifications | none |
| Contractual availability guarantee | none on Essential, Professional and Business; a quantified guarantee exists only on Enterprise |
Included volumes and overage rates depend on the plan: they are published on the pricing table, which is authoritative. They are not copied here, so that neither page can drift from the other.
What leaves Europe, and that we don't hide
The assistant used in writing involves no transfer outside the European Union. The assistant used by voice does in certain cases: reading aloud in languages other than French and English, transcription in Thai, Vietnamese and Hebrew, and failover when the European engine fails. The line-by-line detail is published on our trust page.
This is not a hidden flaw: it's the consequence of the European voice catalog available today, which covers only two languages. Making every language speak with a French accent would be worse than saying so.
Frequently asked questions
Can the assistant make up an answer?
It is instructed never to make things up and to refer visitors to your front desk for any question not covered by its profile. An automatically generated answer may nonetheless contain inaccuracies; this is stated within the assistant itself.
Can a visitor make it say anything?
The assistant is grounded in your profile, the instructions live server-side and are never present in the page, and rate limits protect the endpoints against large-scale automated use.
What happens if I exceed my conversation quota?
The service keeps running—your visitors are never blocked. Additional conversations are billed per unit, at your plan's rate shown on the pricing table, and appear on your next invoice.
Can I have several assistants?
It depends on the plan. The Essential, Professional and Business plans include only one.
Do you guarantee uptime?
We use reasonable means to ensure the service's availability, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. A quantified uptime guarantee exists only on the Enterprise plan.
My line of business isn't in your list of sectors. Is that a problem?
No. The assistant learns your business from what you give it; the sector pages are illustrations, not limits.
Do you have a security certification?
No — neither SOC 2, nor ISO 27001, nor HIPAA. Nor do we advertise them as « in progress ». However, a security audit is open to customers, once per twelve-month period, with thirty days' notice, conducted by themselves or by an independent, non-competing third party.
